#ttrpg Seeing all the cool very specific small narrative rpgs on itch and I'm like, this would be awesome for character creation or downtime stuff or side-stories. Got me thinkin about "modes of play" and interesting optional subsystems for players in a downtime-focused campaign.

#ResidentEvil Lance Reddick is fantastic. Actors are great. Sets are awesome. Writing is campy (like RE games). It's a side story that extends game timeline. Watch it before you judge it. Fast forward through the teen drama if you need. I'd like to see a second season.

#TruthSeekers season 1 was fantastic. X-files vibes with that irreverent Pegg/Frost flavor. I was glued to the mystery and watched it all in one go. Here’s hoping for season 2! Thank you everyone who worked on the show! It was a treat!

I wish I could give good cops benefit of the doubt. But any cop that stands by as this aggressive abuse continues is not a good cop. Fuck these cops. Any cop that’s a decent human needs to stand up against this violence against citizens and push for reform. “Just doing my job”BS

The cops were antagonizing the protesters. The cops started this situation, exacerbated the situation, and it’s their direct actions that lead to these riots. Where were the teargas grenades for the anti-lockdown protests?

Working on a story/setting with 4 main concurrent timelines is a little tricky. I’ve got a word doc with a 4 column table right now, each column is a timeline. Has been fun and helpful for figuring out how the timelines interact and differ. #writing #scifi #timetravel

Makin’ character sheets: first I just get some stuff on a page to get a feel for sizing and to make notes. Trying an “offense” and “defense” sheet. “Cool stuff” is a big part of our game, thus the emphasis on equipment.

Got a bunch of good advice at Metatopia. Totally reworked our new game over the last two days. Running it tomorrow for like 6 people XD I'm at work but id rather be designing the new character sheet XD
