Seeing a lot of questions about whether we’ll see Ryan Boe here. To me, that doesn’t seem like something David Braun would do. Has seemed very committed to Stone. Plus, not sure you want to throw Boe into the fire against this particular team.

Just a brutal pick from Stone. Throws it right to linebacker Jerry Mixon. Yet another promising drive results in no points. Stone is 8-15 for 75 yards and two picks. It’s Oregon, but yikes.

Northwestern drove all the way down to the Oregon 26 and had a 3rd and 1. The running game has been able to convert those all day. Instead, Stone drops back and is sacked. 4th and 9.

Now Wilde gets another first down gain on a nice pass from Stone. Then Stone fires one to Welcing on the next play for 7. Welcing, the tight end, has two receptions today. Himon and Komolafe each have one. Wilde is the only receiver with a catch — he has three for 24.

Northwestern gets the ball first here in this second half. We’ll see if they get back to running the football. Down 17, but it’s where they found success early in the game. Stone has just 21 yards passing.
