@kylegriffin1 In France that’s what we have. What WE ALSO HAVE is free healthcare, perfect roads and highways, no slums, parental leave up to one year with no fear of being replaced, etc etc. In America, the GOP is only trying to appease its oligarchs & make them wealthier. Shameful.

If a hospital administrator can receive six figure bonuses while patients sit in stool for hours on end because they refuse to pay to supplement staffing, the system is beyond repair. They know that unsafe staffing leads to poor outcomes, they just don't care.

Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.

I’ve done a lot of things ppl have called brave. But the bravest thing I think I’ve ever done is confront the voice of my parents in my head that told me I wasn’t creative or a good singer. I started taking singing lessons & have to reject that derisive voice every lesson.

Verification should be free because it’s a service to EVERYONE ELSE to be able to easily tell that a public figure, journalist, celebrity, govt, brand, etc, is actually the one speaking. Whatever else Twitter is, direct access to those accounts is a big part of why people use it.
