What this convo taught me is that everyone identifies with the abuser but no one ever spares even a single thought for the victims. Aren't the victims marginalized too ? Poor too ? What about them ? Their struggle ? Their right to a fair trial ?

Davis is perfectly clear in WRC that while the myth of the "black rapist" was invoked w great success as a general defense of the practice of lynching, the large majority of actual lynchings did not involve accusations of rape. You are peddling the very myth that she criticizes.
