@IFLTV That’s the issue with boxing at the moment right there - don’t fight him cause he might be good- back in the day the best fought the best

@Godisalive2024 History will favour him kindly - he had 10 title defences the same as Ali. On the real he was extremely limited and fury was the first A tier fighter he fought and fury beat him 3 times. He also struggled with B level old man Ortiz.

@jedigoodman Dana white isn’t a promoter - his career was funded by the fertitas and now it’s funded by the Saudis - he has no control over anything

@HappyPunch @IFLTV Hearn might have been from a family of promoters, and eddies work has made them billionaires. The idea Dana is a promoter is bollocks, the fertittas put the money in and after TKO bought it, Vinnie Mac made the Saudi deal read into it

@boxingkingmedia @RickGlaserTheOG Just like to point out Dave Allen says he’s always been paid within 7 days of a fight and his highest purse is circa £400,000 pound - America is the land of not paying this guy is Don king stooge FUCK HIM

@davemeltzerWON So your telling me the guy that owned it and took this case to court maybe spent a million dollars (definitely on the never never) and he got paid $20 million. He should have a fucking statue.

@CurtP_ If you look at Matchrooms accounts - they make millions of Darts and Snooker - if boxing disappeared tomorrow they’d still be multi millionaires.

@BBLouisR @NewAgeBoxingUK @ade_oladipo1 The heavyweight champion of the world going into that fight was George Foreman.. Ali was the challenger.

@highfieldboxing Complete idiots on this podcast - here’s a fact Holyfield vs Foreman was the biggest PPV ever at the time 8.5% of households purchased it and the grill wasn’t released for 3 more years - he was a mega star and American hero.

@BBLouisR @NewAgeBoxingUK @ade_oladipo1 He’d also did what Ali could never do and slaughtered Ken Norton

@BBLouisR @NewAgeBoxingUK @ade_oladipo1 Olympic gold medalist and 40-0 at the time, it was seen as suicide for Ali to fight him. I’m not the biggest Ali fan in the world but for me the foreman win was his greatest fight up there with the Cleveland Williams win (the best he ever was)

@DanCanobbio Do you know why they screamed Ali Bomaye, because George showed up with a German shepherd, and those dogs had been used by the Belgians in the Congo and they saw him as the white man that’s where bomaye comes from. Mongs man
