😞so, I may be in the market for a new laptop. I’ve always been a PC gal but maybe this is a sign I should try out Mac? What do y’all think?
@sabrinathecoder I've used both extensively for work. For me the bottom-line is Mac is necessary to build apps for iOS/iPad/Mac. Otherwise, Windows works just fine and you can get better specs for half the price of a MacBook. In the end it all comes down to personal preference. Happy shopping😊
@sabrinathecoder I like not having to worry about troubleshooting my OS while working. Also love multiple desktops per monitor, gestures on a Magic Mouse, and just basic things that help me be productive that are built in. So Mac is my go to. Apple has its issues, but it’s all down to your needs.
@sabrinathecoder Last 14 years has been Mac=home PC=work. Depends on use case. Need a Mac for iOS dev. Most dev is equal on both especially with WSL2 out now on PC. The new Macs are finally getting back to being reliable but until now I would have gone to PC if something happened to my 2015 MBP.
@sabrinathecoder I use Linux and windows every day, and I’ve used a Mac for taking screenshots for a course. It was a good experience, but for me it takes quite a bit of learning and customization to be really productive. It’s an investment, from both time and money
