I talk to a smart people every day, who consider themselves strong AI users. Aside from engineers, 95% of them are just using chat, maybe with a few .doc and .xlsx files uploaded. Hardly anybody is actually using AI at the level you’d think based on this app. And to be clear, I don’t think that makes them dumb or anything like that. I just think it’s a reflection of how X is heavily overindexed on 150 iq autists- that’s why I love it here, but it’s important not to get lost in the sauce.

It's hard to justify using models that are dumber than Fable and Astra. For real-world code work, the benefits massively outweigh the cost. The benefit isn't better code, it's something else that's more subtle.
everyone using fable/astra (most of you on subs, because no one can afford that) should try switching back to the other high reasoning models (opus/sol) you'll likely realize your tasks dont perform any differently
I’ve been told that confidence inside OpenAI is through the roof right now. People there seem extremely bullish on the next major release and on the lineup they’ve built for DevDay. From what I’m hearing, they’re treating the next few weeks as potentially one of the most exciting periods in OpenAI’s history. That’s a very big claim, so now I’m mostly interested in seeing whether the launches live up to the internal expectations.
