Everything's open sourced - weights, SA-Co benchmark, fine-tuning code. They acknowledge limitations with domain-specific terminology in zero-shot (e.g., medical imaging) but claim fast adaptation with small labeled datasets. Roboflow partnership for deployment.
On the research side, they partnered with Conservation X Labs for SA-FARI (10K+ wildlife videos, 100+ species) and FathomNet for underwater segmentation. Both datasets are public. Good to see practical applications in conservation and marine research.
