Two-Phase Commit. Looks perfect in theory. Fails in practice. ❌ Blocking ❌ Slow ❌ Single point of failure In distributed systems, I avoid it. Instead use Sagas, Outbox, Event-driven. Simple rule: Don’t chase perfection. Chase reliability.
Finally… a good alternative to AWS Cloud. Tried Excloud, really affordable, super smooth. Loving it already.
Scaling read traffic? Add caches. Scaling write traffic? Rethink design.
