पारिस्थितिक संतुलन में गौरैया की भूमिका अहम् है। कीट नियंत्रण में गौरैया विभिन्न प्रकार के हानिकारक कीटों को खाकर उनकी आबादी को नियंत्रित करने में मदद करती है,फसलों और पौधों को सुरक्षित रखने में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।बीज का प्रसार भी करती है ।
गौरैया का सामाजिक -सांस्कृतिक महत्व है।लंबे समय से मनुष्यों के साथ सह-अस्तित्व में रह रही है।और घरों,छतों और रौशनदान के पास घोंसले बनाती है।गौरैया को सुख,शांति और खुशी का प्रतीक माना जाता है।भारतीय पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार,जिस घर में गौरैया रहती है, वहां सुख-शांति बनी रहती है

#नमस्ते_गौरैया -घोंसला से जब बच्चा गौरैया बाहरी दुनिया में आता है तब शुरुआत में माँ -पिता गौरैया उसे आहार खिलाते है .धीरे - धीरे बच्चा गौरैया युवा या चुगना समझ जाता है तो उसे माँ -पिता गौरैया खुद से आहार चुगने के लिए छोड़ देते है . #save_sparrows
#नमस्ते_गौरैया गौरैया के बच्चे को युवा बनने में लगभग 3 सप्ताह लगते हैं।गौरैया अपने अंडे को 11 से 14 दिनों तक सेती है.बच्चे लगभग 14-16 दिनों तक घोंसले में रहते हैं.फिर एक दिन निकल वे उड़ना शुरू कर देते हैं.गौरैया गौरैया के बच्चे लगभग 3 सप्ताह में उड़ना सीख जाते हैं.
#नमस्ते_गौरैया -बच्चा गौरैया हूँ ,चोंच के पास पीली धारी इसकी पहचान है ....जैसे-जैसे गौरैया युवा होते जाते हैं,धारी गायब हो जाती है.इसमें 20 से 25 दिन युवा बनने में लग जाते हैं.पंख ,चोंच ,पैर के रंग में परिवर्तन होने लगता है. #save_sparrows
