@MattWalshBlog It's true. My family got 'stuck' overseas during covid and when we tried to settle back into our homeland, the kids there were not alright. Secular-lib areas have fewest protections, zero free range kids. An over-screened/scheduled factory farmed childhood is the 'new normal'.

@feelsdesperate Nextdoor lib poster in my neighborhood defended our garbage-filled streets with a poetic rant about the "shambolic" nature of busy interesting places. "Like Paris!" While it's true you can see human excrement in sight of Louis Vouitton stores, dunno why that's aspirational 🤷‍♀️

@Cernovich Not true. The weed heads regret it - commercialization ruined their weed.

@FondOfBeetles "Monotropy" (primary attachment to a single caregiver) is a model for adult human pair bonding. I wonder if societies with non-mother alloparents have a harder time with monogamy 🤔 But yes, it's been a brilliant (divine?) social technology for those with enough PFC to apply it.

@hamill_law Probably because everyone in Samoa recognizes Samoan Fa'afafine aren't women, they're a third gender category. Definitely why trans lobby shut down the American Anthro Assoc conferences on sex and gender! They want a monopoly on meaning.

@hamill_law 🙏 As an anthropologist, I don't understand how schools can prohibit any ONE religion from being taught in schools, but can force ONE (very Western, trans-lobby determined) gender cosmology to be taught in schools. There are innumerable gender cosmologies, why THIS one?!

@DanielKotzin Mostly rejecting the hypersexualization that comes with becoming a woman in progressive/secular/especially hollywood culture. Eating disorders used to solve the problem of avoiding curves and cultural piece-of-meat-status, now less revocable forms of bodily harm/rejection.

@MeghanEMurphy Yep. Feels like a form of cultural illiteracy when you reach a certain point. And given liberalism is a Judeo-Christian derivative we're historically orphaned too. When Tom Holland calls lib/secular-humanism a 'pallid simulacra' of the OG is 🤌 youtube.com/watch?v=favILm…

@ericweinstein The NZ vaccine/mandate rollout came 6+ months after the US, and the NZ media covered NOTHING about what had already (reluctantly) been learned and disclosed about transmission, inefficacy, and boosters in the US. They just repeated the same mistakes, on purpose.

@AntiCommieBecca Well, if women didn’t work, then we’d make 100% more and we wouldn’t have lowered standards for typical male jobs. Get in the kitchen and make some dinner women

@charliekirk11 If you want to own your enemy know your terms. Conservatives dislike Liberal feminism - so does maternal feminism, reactionary feminism, much of radical feminism. The latter are allies. Be the Conservative who becomes formidable, by knowing what even most LibFemmers don't 🙏

@AntiCommieBecca He means Liberal Feminism, but he doesn't now he means that. Conservatives who criticize blanket term 'feminism' don't know about maternal feminism, reactionary feminism, all the non-elite/pro-family feminisms that have plenty of cause overlap minus blatant misogyny🤷‍♀️

@RealDianeYap Better analogy is S.E. Asian boxers, who also offer up their bodies to avoid poverty. But they're likewise not high status. Status comes with economic agency, and that's not the story of the brown/poor/female global south sex industry - despite the Western rebrand.

@HannahBerrelli Also, academics who consider themselves ‘allies’ and supporters will go through extraordinary lengths to defend prostitution, but likewise never propose doing ‘participant observation’ style research. Easier to just rebrand exploitation. Let-them-eat-cake from academia as well.

@HannahBerrelli If they turn it into an ‘identity’ they don’t have to recognize their complicity in promoting a caste system. The sex industry exploits the global (mostly brown) poor, and trying to make it sexy or edgy is predictable yet damaging Hollywood swill.

@Kaglor1477401 @salltweets 💯 You really have to buy the branding and look absolutely no further to be onboard!
