the test i care about for @2FactorFinance isn't a bull run, it's the boring stretch in the paper's jan to aug 2024 window a 3x leveraged etf ends near $10,031 from $10,000, while the 1.33x tracks spot at around $13,600. flat markets are where leverage quietly decays

i like that @2FactorFinance explains where its 1.33x comes from instead of just advertising it the capital split lands there, and the paper says it sits below the Kelly optimum for safety of the path, not for show. capped beta on base

Kelly-optimized leverage has arrived. For those who don’t already know, this is leverage that’s made to be held for long periods of time. Developed in 1956, Kelly sizing has been used by professional investors for decades to maximize long-term compounded growth. Regular

5 / 5 for something built to be held over time, the control layer belongs next to the collateral and the leverage not advice, just what i'd check first cc @2FactorFinance

"stocks next" only works if the mechanism doesn't need a deep derivatives market the paper says it needs a price feed and depositors who want the protected side. that's the bet today it's btc only, stocks are roadmap

(d) it points to on-chain depositors being rate-sensitive so far. that's data, not a guarantee, and this is a capped beta on base not advice cc @2FactorFinance

(c) if they're slow, leverage drifts. in a rally it sags below target, in a drawdown it creeps above fee curves are meant to keep the correction cheap near target, but the paper says plainly that junior's real path could differ from the simulation

(a) the risk the paper worries about most isn't a crash. it's depositors not reacting i joined the @2FactorFinance program here points.2factor.finance/r/o2r0mclh after reading its limitations section
