Somebody must have told Trump that Gettysburg was in Pennsylvania, and he just did a lengthy nonsensical riff on how the Battle of Gettysburg was "so vicious and horrible and so beautiful" and segued to Robert E Lee not being in favor now. It's very random stuff now. I'm looking closely to see if any part of his liquefied brain has started seeping out his ears, but sorry, I don't see that yet.
@OurShallowState I’m more interested in the receivers of the information…do they understand it’s not making sense?
@sara_spy @OurShallowState It’s Pennsyltucky, they don’t care if he makes sense. They love him because he gives their hate a voice. They decorate their cars & homes with his flags. Hate groups are very active in PA.
@sara_spy @OurShallowState I watched the end of one of them when he was walking to the back of the stage to leave. The people behind him didn’t track him. They just stared vacantly ahead, jiggling their signs and flags. They looked paid.
@sara_spy @OurShallowState "Don't make no sense, but that's only becuz we don't BLEEVE in him hard enough!!!!"
@sara_spy @OurShallowState Ah But But But when it gets processed in the space between their ears, it likely makes sense to them
@sara_spy I can’t tell if they don’t understand or if they care.
@sara_spy @OurShallowState I've noticed that many times the ones behind him don't appear to be really listening to his rambling, but are waiting for triggering cues to boo or cheer.
@sara_spy @OurShallowState If you watch the people behind him in his clip, they aren’t paying attention to him. They’re not listening to him at all and have no idea what he’s even saying.
@sara_spy @OurShallowState Notice the crowd behind Trump? Restless, constantly moving, not paying attention. They have the same problems he has!
