You have a kid and say “he’s gonna have to learn to sleep through anything”. And then your kid is 10 months old with blackout curtains, an air purifier, white noise machine, and humidifier, and you find yourself asking “should I get him a therapeutic red light?”

Ok. ALMOST a parenting fail. I had one AirPod in watching TikTok trying to get this child to sleep. It fell out as I stood up, got caught in my hair; and landed under him in the crib. 🙇‍♀️ I’m so glad something made me realize it was missing and keep looking until I found it.

I took P on a long walk in the stroller but had to carry him for the last fifteen minutes. I get home and my scaredy cat dog, Oscar ran out. Had to follow him til I got him cornered. Then carry P on one hip and O on the other My neighbors must think I’m crazy.

One of my favorite things about being a parent is when your kid wakes up at that crack of Dawn, so you bed grudgingly get up and they decide they are tired ten minutes later. But now you can’t go back to sleep.
