If you are curious about the safety of systems like AutoGPT, this is an interesting proposal. It argues that the context window size of LLMs should temporarily be limited and proposes an evidence-based strategy for gradually increasing it.

Cyclers like Auto-GPT that use LLMs like GPT-4 to pursue goals can very soon be used do significant real-world harm. It would be prudent to temporarily limit the context window size of LLMs to prevent this. gregorvomscheidt.wordpress.com/2023/05/08/pro…
