We need to actively support this. It is a great idea, but local councillors listen to local voices (as they absolutely should). If the majority of people they hear from are opposed, the likelihood is that they will vote accordingly.

The South Mall leg of my commute used to involve interacting with busses and vans as well as motorists charging up to the lights. Normally anyone using the word "transformative" would trigger my grumpy old man mode, but this is transformative. #corkcycling

I was in town shopping as the shelves were being restocked and everything cleaned. The people who will get me through this tend to be young and almost certainly at the bottom of the economic ladder. I wonder how much of the billions of aid to protect the economy they will see?
