All of health care policy falls like dominos when you accept this FACT about mother nature & omicron 🧵
Wearing an n95 is pointless You won't do it the rest of your life Exposure is inevitable It merely delays the inevitable at personal inconvenience & anchors the mind in fear mode vinayprasadmdmph.substack.com/p/should-you-w…
Vaccine mandates are now intellectually bankrupt All the boosters mandates in the world cannot halt spread A key prerequisite to mandates is gone They are a personal health choice (which BTW you should opt for, esp. if you are an older adult!) vinayprasadmdmph.substack.com/p/vaccine-effe…
@perisriverv @VPrasadMDMPH Is that not true? Wouldn't a higher vaccinated population result in fewer hospital cases? What am I missing?
@perisriverv @VPrasadMDMPH There is no liberty in dying due to a failed healthcare system. That freedom was taken away by someone else’s bad choice to not get vaccinated.
@perisriverv @VPrasadMDMPH If you accept that vaccines significantly protect against serious illness (as this tread does) you have to then accept that fewer people would be in the hospital if more people were vaccinated. That isn't an opinion, that is just logic.
@perisriverv @VPrasadMDMPH This is not valid unless you can establish that smoking cigarettes are an immediate risk to a healthcare system collapse. Currently, the influx of unvaccinated patients is putting the system at risk. It is preventing the care of non-covid related illnesses.
