@jais31118 no if you are calculating a sum it becomes a blocking operation and other operations won't run irrespective of how long it takes. because this is cpu intensive your point for long running task is valid only if that operation is IO intensive. x.com/ChaoticDeeds/s…

@ChaoticDeeds one thing to add(on my exp) the only thing that helped me do mySQL is complete the theory portions of SQL in class11-12 books, then solve the SQL50 on leetcode
