@Synonym_Buns @CopperMtn Obviously this convo is going no where. I’m not arguing with you further. I’m assuming you are a local who has had the entire season to enjoy the slopes and incurred no financial loss from this event. Failing to recognize this frustration puts us at a fundamental disagreement.

@Synonym_Buns @CopperMtn I’m not pissed they closed, it is a national health matter and I understand the need to protect the community. I’m mad due to the lack of honesty regarding risk. Probably $ related. Just an indication of this Friday would’ve prevented multiple groups flying on sat.

@Synonym_Buns @CopperMtn Everyone in the world knew about it. Say that to the people (actively commenting in this thread) that flew in, rented skis, paid for condos, and are now stuck.

@Synonym_Buns @CopperMtn When you googled ski resorts a day ago multiple articles and PR campaigns heavily pushed they were not closing. So yes an actual perception of the risks of these statements would’ve been nice.

@Synonym_Buns @CopperMtn The risk was still there though and could have been communicated better. Vail did not decide overnight they’d close their mountains. It’s something corporate was tracking and debating. Copper must have been having the same discussions.

@RouReynolds I always considered this as a nice thing. I usually say no worries which implies that it should be common place for man to help a fellow man. We'd love to help so no need to thank us 😁

.@realDonaldTrump should heed his own words: “if there is a shutdown I think it would be a tremendously negative mark on the president of the United States. He's the one that has to get people together.” #TrumpShutdown
