Regarding the #Nintendo patent situation. A lot of patents aren't legally enforceable. This is a result of the issuers not having any idea about gaming. If a new game with this mechanic challenged this, Nintendo would likely not win.

Last week I dislocated my shoulder again. One of many and this time I believe to have seriously fractured something. I’ve completely lost the ability to extend my arm. Have an orthopedic appointment on Thursday but hopefully this gets better.
