I was all for protecting the course at all costs but now I’m completely in favour of the golfer been able to play with the least amount of restrictions, without golfers I wouldn’t be in a job. That been said they must understand that there will be considerable wear to the course.

So I know golf courses can contribute to conservation (hence my job 😉) but repeatedly we are seeing the evidence. Curlew a red list species & choughs have not long returned to Cornish coasts & the golf course is providing vital feeding areas for them! Those photos of choughs👌
