If there is sufficient support I will finance the filing of a public interest petition in Kolkata High Court seeking orders to free Kali Ma
I will coordinate the Forum activities, even though I am now based at Chennai. Let us work to free Kali Ma from imprisonment in Kalighat
If you agree call me at 9884024311 or 9884011391 or email me at [email protected]. I am Ganesh, a non bengali who studied in Kolkata
I call upon all Bengali Hindus and non Bengalis who have grown up in Kolkata to join this Forum and Kali Ma be set free of her captors
I propose 'SAVE KALI MA AT KALIGHAT' Forum. Goddess is imprisoned by ruffians (pandas) by hustlers (shopkeepers) and harassed by beggars!
Time to organize a forum which can exert pressure on the authorities to clean up the temple and make a visit to Goddess Kali a pleasant one
For Hindus the Goddess Kali at Kalighat is revered and loved: but frankly a visit to the temple after a long time is unpleasant Sad for me
Visited Kalighat Temple at Kolkata recently. The greed of the pandas the nuisance of beggars sharp shopkeepers filth, dirt: it was miserable

So why lionize our cricketers as gods? Let the world play cricket and if India is still the champion then there is merit. Hollow claim now?
In the 50s and 60s India were world champions in hockey. We scored 32 and 48 goals in a match. Today? We score none others score against us
India are world champions in cricket? 10 out of 196 countries play cricket. So we are world champions in Kabbadi and Kho Kho? Only two play
