There is a significant increase in cryptocurrency sale in Maldives. You can buy it without bank or police ever knowing and pay for Temu shopping too. Stablecoins like USDT (1 USDT = 1 USD) are the best. You don’t have to worry about price fluctuations cause it’s pegged to USD. Very safe. It’s available for a rate that’s slightly higher than USD blackmarket rate. If USD blackmarket rate is 20 MVR, you can expect to pay 21 or 22 MVR. You can buy USDT with MVR (BML to BML) and receive it in a wallet such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet or Binance. BML won’t know it’s happening cause all they see is a normal MVR to MVR transfer. You’ll be receiving the USDT in a wallet that can never be controlled by MMA or BML (or any other central bank or authority). USDT transfers are instant and charges are tiny (or insignificant/negligible). MMA/gov won’t see USDT activities. It operates outside the conventional global financial system. You can even make foreign payments or convert that USDT to USD at 1 USDT = 1 USD, into a wallet. You can shop from Temu and AliExpress. Since they don’t accept USDT or cryptocurrency directly, what you can do is, get an online card like PayWithMoon and link it to your crypto wallet. It’ll generate a temporary virtual US visa card and you can make your payment. Or you can even buy gift cards. When Muizzu introduced the tobacco policy, we knew it would fuel the black market. We were right. The same is now happening in cryptocurrency market. Many hotels accept cryptocurrency payments and MMA/Gov will not know. This is backfiring, just like tobacco. Steps: 1. Find a USDT seller (hundreds available) 2. Pay MVR 3. Get USDT in a wallet 4. Link that wallet to a prepaid card 5. Pay for Temu / AliExpress 6. Get your products in Male’. The fear of you buying/selling USD and BML/police catching you is no longer there. Cause you’re not buying USD. You’re transferring MVR through Maldivian banking system, correct. But you’re receiving USDT outside the Maldives.

Dear @Dhiraagu other than February you cannot advertise & sell these packages as monthly with 28 days validity this could be considered both fraud & misleading advertising & customers can actually take this to court under the Maldives Consumer Protection Act (Law No. 12/2020),this is stealing 2 to 3 days of internet we have already paid for as monthly. Leaving that aside we the general public on halal payroll without a political job are just dirt poor & cannot afford to have a decent internet which is essential for our studies & job hunting. Please do ethical business. @governmentmv @MMuizzu @presidencymv @mvpeoplesmajlis
