LOOK: Missouri has no age limit to buy and carry this weaponry. The 19-year-old school gunman in St Louis had an AR-15 and 600 rounds of ammo in 30-round magazines. There’s no background check or permitting required to carry these guns loaded, in public. This is fucking insane.

The 19-year-old wasn’t old enough rent a car, but he could buy weapons of war. Meanwhile, the NRA and its GOP allies want to lower the national age limit to buy a handgun to 18, even though 18 to 20-year-olds are FOUR TIMES as likely to commit gun homicides as adults over 21.

@shannonrwatts This is why we are having so much gun violence. Not everyone should be able to own a AR 15. You would think these would be reserved for our military. You cannot tell me that you need this type of gun for any reason. We need to ban them now. #BanAssaultWeapons
@shannonrwatts There is a background check to BUY it.
@shannonrwatts If he bought it from a gun store, he was background checked. Any reason to think he didn't pass.
@shannonrwatts The only way there was no background check was if he got the gun illegally. That would have happened regardless of your anti-constitutional laws.
@shannonrwatts He bought it from an unlicensed seller nice try toots
