@dbuckedu @AsaoBInoue I value student's labor but for me grades are about achievement of learning goals. I think we should report labor (behaviour) separately from achievement. I also think we should stop saying students "work" or submit "work." Students are learners & provide evidence of learning.

So excited to be a student today! Miranda (6th grade student) and I co-hosted a new club today @AcademySjsd. She taught 30 students in grades 4th-8th how to draw anime. Can't wait to host more clubs with students and learn from them.

Fun Friday I’m Thankful for St. Joe Event @AcademySjsd had 238 participants with 8226 minutes of total engagement. Special thanks to teacher volunteers, local businesses and museums that allowed us to bring our VA students in for ten mini-field trips today in an hour.
