I spoke with members of the 494th and 335th Fighter Squadrons today to commend them for their exceptional airmanship and skill in defending Israel from an unprecedented aerial attack by Iran. These brave servicemembers make us all proud.

Why did US CPI increase from 3.1% in January to 3.5% in March? Higher rates of inflation in Transportation, Electricity, Medical Care, Gasoline, Apparel, Used Cars, Gas Utilities, and Fuel Oil. Video: youtube.com/watch?v=C-Ddoo…

Whatever the reason, the empirical evidence is increasingly clear. BTC may be seen as a contra currency with low correlation to other assets, but it is not a geopolitical hedge. Gold remains the only major asset class consistently exhibiting properties of a geopolitical hedge.

Not sure if anyone else has a treadmill that goes under their desk but I finally bought one tonight. Wish I had done this two years ago. Like many of you, I spend 60+ hours a week at my desk, sitting in my chair and even though I go to the gym every day (sometimes 2x per day)... it's still hard to find enough time for cardio. Now I don't have any excuses to skip my cardio. My goal is 60+ minutes of walking per day which should get me to 75 miles per month assuming I can walk at 2.5 mph and get work done (ie scanning charts, researching stocks, updating spreadsheets, sending emails, jumping on zoom calls, day trading, putting together newsletters, etc). I'm certainly no expert on treadmills but this is the one I ended up buying... amazon.com/dp/B0CYGNVD7F?… I went with this particular for the following reasons... 1) 3.5hp motor (most of these lightweight, foldable, under the desk treadmills are 2.0hp or 2.5hp) 2) detachable handles so it's easier to store under my bed or in a closet 3) up to 6 degree incline 4) the workspace is big enough to hold a laptop If anyone else has one of these treadmills and you really like it feel free to chime in and post the links.

Language is central not only to communication, but also to cultural expression, heritage, and identity. I’m excited to see this partnership with @NZStuff and @strakerglobal using #AI to make news more accessible by increasing the number of articles published in te reo Māori, a national language of New Zealand. advertise.stuff.co.nz/news/ai-streng…

Just tried FSD (Supervised) 12.3.3 for the first time. I had driven a total of about 4,500 miles on FSD Beta from mid-2022 to early 2024. These miles included cities, roundabouts, suburban areas, rural areas with dirt roads, highways, snow, etc., so I've had a good overall feel for the system and how it would perform in various scenarios. There’s this one area with all kinds of crazy road lines, weird intersections, crosswalks, etc., that always required system intervention. Today I took FSD 12 to that same area. It nailed it. No interventions for the first time ever. FSD 12 (Supervised) in general feels a lot more natural in how it reacts to situations. This has been said about some previous versions of FSD, but this feels truly different. Separately, my 73-year-old mom bought FSD for her Model Y when she took delivery 2 years ago but has never really used it because it was either too jerky or just felt uncomfortable to her. I had her try FSD (Supervised) 12.3.3 today, and this is the first time where it felt comfortable and reliable enough for her. It was a really smooth ride with no interventions. It handled multiple speed bumps perfectly, cars sticking out on the road, and even slowed down for a pothole. Tesla is no longer compute-constrained, which I think is why they are going all-in on the FSD subscription and free trials. They want to get as much data and people using FSD (Supervised) as possible so they can train and improve the system even more quickly. It's been 3.5 years since FSD Beta rolled out to early general public testers, but FSD (Supervised) version 12 finally feels like the moment where a lot more people are opening their eyes to this system's capabilities and to the future prospect of Robotaxis. I look forward to seeing how FSD progresses in the coming months. If the speed at which FSD (Supervised) updates are being rolled out is any indication, we can expect some exciting months ahead.

That argument though falls flat given how much effort big Pharma makes to influence those who do write the tax laws, here and globally. Big pharma helped write the tax law that allowed it to continue to profit shift and avoid US tax 7/

Happy to work with the mainstream financial press as well! Data on tax avoidance is all more or less public -- it is from the pharma companies 10-Ks. And the absence of any apparent US profits is very compelling story ... 1/2
