@cricinfo An American looking to understand cricket through a bunch of scorecards said, "who is this Atherton B McGrath? He seems to play every game."

@kartik_kannan I was on a train to the SCG on the morning of day 3. A senior Aussie gentleman saw my friends and I in our India jerseys and asked us "is your captain playing today?". The Aussies were worried, too. On that wicket, with a healthy Boom, we would have won.

@BishOnTheRockx Agreed! At MCG it was most frustrating to see him but try the ramp, given how short the straight boundaries are.

@sanakannan @chaitu_20 In my opinion, the greatest catch I've seen in cricket.

@NakulMPande Word is the players have been getting unsolicited batting advice from their toddlers. Data suggests that at right about the 15 day mark, they start taking the advice seriously.

@ESPNcricinfo Only makes sense if the players' children have been having a say in team selection.

@hganjoo_153 Data? All you need to play cricket for your country is to be prepared to take a bullet. As simple as it can get.

@scg Seriously, please do better. Queues are always 15 minutes long. You desperately need to scale up. The @MCG charges pretty much the same per ticket but offers a significantly better viewing experience.

The SCG: Seats for ~50,000 and toilets for 10,000. Horrible. #AUSvIND

@hemantbuch Completely agree. His defense and judgement have been splendid. Would've been a good batter to hold one end up.

@Cricketracker Yes, also Dravid, Gavaskar, and all retired players who had a solid defence.

@ChennaiIPL @BCCI Nobody questioning his shot selection? They were the last pair that don't use borrowed bats. Going for the hook instead of shutting shop with ducks and defense?

There better be consequences - folks have to be dropped and strongly reprimanded. The utter lack of application and respect for the efforts of your bowlers. Furious and heartbroken. #INDvsAUS

@kartik_kannan A local fan told me on day 2 that it is a form of respect to be called a wanker at the MCG. They think you are so good that you need to be targeted. Broad is also a recipient, he said. Made me look at it in a whole new light. VK & Siraj are on the honors board here at the G.
