No Universalist ever started with the theology of the Church. They started with how they felt, and then generally find verses and Church Fathers to cherry-pick to back up what they decided was true before they found those texts. They'll say it's the texts, but then easily ignore hundreds and hundreds of Saints that say Universalism is false. A Christian should be reading what the true Faith teaches, reading the Scriptures and Saints say, and presume it is true. That is where a Christian starts. It might not be easy to just accept, it might have nuance and need explanation, but you don't start with how you feel, and if the corpus of Orthodox witness testifies against you, you doubt yourself, you don't make up theology to rationalize.

@RomanosOrthodox @fool2theworld For the record: Saint Augustine, in De Fide et Symbolo, says such iconography of the Father (sitting, with the Son on His right) is a nefarious thing to be placed in a christian church.

@OrthoAugustine Granted it's not dogma, but a children's limbo in hell (not Gehenna, up until judgement), since they don't have any personal sins, is not an wild idea. It's certain that Abraham, Moses et al. weren't in the same condition as other sinful souls, while all were in the same hell.
