@amuldotexe Hypothesis: if one top student fails a test, then no student can ever pass that test :)
I'd rather consider every business separately. Sometimes, there are org restructures. Either the org missed the internal value of a person, or the person stopped delivering it.
@starkience It has a lot of general terminology around quantum computation, and some concepts are very different from non-quantum world, but I'd say it's helpful to know them, ZK algos being implementations of those general concepts.
@starkience Look at the subject of "cryptography on quantum computers". There would be a beginner to a good level theory with some problem exercises you can solve on paper. For example, this one: ocw.tudelft.nl/courses/quantu…
Nowadays, there is a lot of emphasis on being opinionated, which I often find dissatisfying and incomplete.
The more I learn over time, the less opinionated I become. Software engineering seems more nuanced than we force it to be.
If you are contributing to a platform with a FE, make sure you downgraded ledger-connector to a previous version (or better remove it altogether), as well as any dependent packages from the list above, if you're using them, as they're most probably also affected.
If you do still need to do a transaction via certain project with a FE, check out a GH repo of the project, go to their package.json and see if they have ledger-connector as a dependency, as well as any dependent packages from this list: npmjs.com/browse/depende…
Basically:
- some frontends use an npm package 'ledger connector'
- that package has been compromised in a supply chain attack
- doesn't matter if you use a ledger or not, if you connect and broadcast a tx on a compromised website (like @RevokeCash), you will be drained, wether
By embracing this approach, developers can create software that is not only functionally correct but also understandable, maintainable, and aligned with the business requirements.
Thread 12 / 12
I'd like to share one concept in software engineering: Knowledge-Rich Design.
Let's look at what it is and why it's an important mental model.
