@simonahac You see the genius of the strategy? You and many others now have to waste energy engaging people like this guy, even if only to be dismissive. (I've wasted energy thinking about how did that happen?) Dutton's led us all into this energy-sapping multi-level cul de sac.
@simonahac The business case for nuclear speaks for itself, not viable in Australia too small a population on too large a land mass and too much highly competitive renewables by the time nucs got up and running it would priced out of the market
@simonahac So the difference between me and this guy is that I think that you should be less dismissive/over the top about nuclear. But I am realistic, literally zero people will ever miss out on being elected for not having a pro-nuclear policy.
@simonahac Imagine if strawman arguments were carbon neutral. We could burn them in repurposed coal-fired power stations.
@simonahac I question your judgement Simon, why do you want to be taken seriously by a guy who would like you to embrace nuclear energy but would settle for you campaigning to lift the ban. Seems he has low standards. If all it takes is lifting the ban let’s do it. And still not build them.
