@_AgentFiveDee the point is most people play it like this - dropping 20 sliderends and sliderbreaking every 200 combo (which isn't fun for everyone)

@DeviousPanda__ sorry if players voicing what they find fun and want to see in ranked hurt your ego as the next Picasso of placing circles on the screen

@mushibamu u can map for urself as much as u want but the ranked section should be more directed towards players than mappers

@ZanzaGamesYT @finadoggie @dioistaken but why does the ranking criteria need to make it so hard to rank them?

@raeosu mappers can map whatever they want. the problem is that the mapper-esque people are the ones controlling the ranked section and not the people who actually play the maps lmao

@raeosu mappers only map for other mappers and small groups just for ego. they dont care about the player experience anymore.

@plambob Haven't you heard? No ranked maps can be simple anymore. They all have to be fast slider velocity, gimmick, low ar, or mapped by people the BNs like! Wait, the people would rather play simple jump maps than these wonky ass maps? Eh who cares I control the rank system!!! (BN pov)

@GnoahA @Hornblende_1 it'd be a strange thing to lie about - i would see new songs i liked getting mapped and was super disappointed once i played them. it killed my drive to play and i find myself playing mostly older stuff

@GnoahA @Hornblende_1 im not saying those don't exist. all I know is that i started having hell of a lot less fun once a significant amount of new ranked maps started looking like wafer's uncomfortable spacing and weird patterns.
