I of course welcome the recognition of the state of Palestine. And there won't be a Palestinian state left if government's continue enabling Israel's unfolding genocide. Labour can't credibly support Palestinian statehood whilst also continuing to arm Israel.

Honestly I respect everything here. They want a removal of Israel that comes from a firm stance on wrongdoing not just the pressure of other broadcasters, and futureproofing the televote to prevent ANY country from doing what Israel have done the past two years is a must.

This is where the neutral flag idea has come from fyi, remember the EBU are not a monolith and they tend to act reactively to what broadcasters say (which is why it has taken broadcasters threatening withdrawal to get the ball moving now)

No holding back at all from The Netherlands 🇳🇱, citing “proven evidence of interference by the Israeli government during the most recent edition” of Eurovision. With this momentum (🇮🇪🇸🇮🇪🇸🇳🇱🇮🇸+) there is no way the EBU can just carry on as normal as if nothing is happening.
