It’s very easy to say “dhivehin destroyed artifacts” and point out how we don’t celebrate our culture without realizing that decolonization also means that we understand that these things happened BECAUSE of colonialism and other political reasons.

as someone who has gotten harassed on the bus and stopped using it - i agree with this. sure that’s not a solution to the root problem but i’m sorry i can’t wait without using public transport until people stops being shitty & this problem gets solved.
