“Love bombing” is an attempt at secure attachment. When someone meets someone and quickly focuses all attention/focus/affection on them, they have attachment issues. The immediate “over closeness” is an attempt to not be abandoned.

Love-bombing is real and toxic af. There’s no reason someone who just met you should be telling you that you're so amazing, they want to be with you forever and they love you. They know nothing about you. It’s not genuine. It’s toxic and they want you attached to them QUICK.
