It’s amazing how many people have already given up on Mac Jones, when he got to the playoffs in his rookie season without a true #1 WR and a defense that fell off after the bye week lollllllllll
@smarshxo Other than Colin Cowherd I don't know anyone who has given up on him.
@JasonMcAfee73 @smarshxo If that’s what you got from Cowherds take then you weren’t listening.
@EazeyHeazley @JasonMcAfee73 Josh Allen wasn’t even that great his rookie season though and look what he’s become. What Colin is saying is premature about Mac
@smarshxo @JasonMcAfee73 Colin is saying the QB position has evolved. Look at all the young QBs in the league, they’re physically gifted with arm talent, leg talent, and IQ. It’s not a knock on Mac. But he’s not a playmaker like Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Fields, Lawrence, etc.
@EazeyHeazley @JasonMcAfee73 I get it but he’s a rookie. He can develop and get better. Mahomes didn’t play his rookie season. Allen wasn’t great in his. Fields and Lawrence weren’t great either. I still feel it’s premature to just act like Mac has hit his ceiling already basically
@EazeyHeazley @JasonMcAfee73 Not to mention this team was built around Cam and his play style and not Macs
@smarshxo @JasonMcAfee73 I’m not saying he can’t develop but Mac Jones is not a playmaker. He’s not going to make plays when things break down. He doesn’t have the physical tools those other players have. The way of slow non mobile pocket passers aren’t the way to go anymore.
