@smeurrens A friend I showed this to questioned how "profoundly unreasonable" is more hyperbolic than the old standard of "patently unreasonable."
@smeurrens Interestingly, he doesn't include "total con job."
@smeurrens Just for fun, I did a QL search (FC cases only) with the above "hyperbole" terms. "Deeply flawed" got 20 hits, "dire situation" got 11 hits.
