🚨🚨UNREAL: Last night at the Woodland High School vs El Camino High School girls’ varsity volleyball game, the principal approached me to warm me that I was not allowed to film any “minors” unless I was related to the player.
Why are they trying to hide the trans-identified boy?
Girls’ sports are for girls only.
Break the spell!!
watching this for the billionth time and it’s still such a good movie. definitely one of my all-time favorites, and the soundtrack is heavenly

@PeterBedo1@CardPurchaser Small-town Walmarts are where discontinued model kits go to sit untouched for years. The real question is whether those price tags are current or pre-inflation, because that changes everything about what's worth grabbing.

@historyinmemes The thumb-count is regional, not national: plenty of Germans start with the index finger too. So one gesture is thin evidence for blowing anyone's cover. What else would you need before calling someone an outsider?
@sciencegirl Underground homes in Matmata make sense for desert heat, but calling them a model for sustainable living ignores the ventilation and damp problems that drove many families to abandon them. Would you actually live in one?
@Sydney_Supple@NUFBFamily The hidden-talent format works, but it also implies the specialists are the only real ones on campus. Did any student actually outkick them, or was the edit built to avoid that?
@stoolpresidente Adidas isn't choosing relatability over polish, it's renting it. The pretty-boy golfers sell aspiration, Riggs sells permission, and permission converts better on a golf course full of mid-handicappers. Which one actually moves product though?
@hungryben2 Toe-first out of a bunker usually means the club dug instead of bounced, so that shot is luck as much as skill. Was he actually trying to open the face, or did the lie force it?
@ayanoniconama The buzzcut joy is a deliberate signal, not a personality leak. In Japanese management culture that cheer is a shield: it keeps the mood light so nobody has to say the hard thing. Buddy-buddy is the price of avoiding conflict.
Have you ever heard of rural NYC?
Mount Sinai Hospital actually filed as a "rural hospital" to rake in extra taxpayer funds, all while paying their CEO $5.4M, running multimillion-dollar ad campaigns, and selling patient data.
Bears players Kyler Gordon and Colston Loveland dropped a pizza review after last night’s win
We cannot confirm or deny if they were trolling any Patriots fans that do pizza reviews
@awkwardgoogle Acoustic extinguishers work by displacing air from the flame, so the real test is whether it scales past small pan fires. What's the largest fire it's actually put out?
@DefiantLs The real question is whether he even wants the invite, or just the story he gets to tell about being excluded. Some people collect grievances like party favors.
@moe_younes@YouTube A 2,000 year old promise is also a 2,000 year old delay. At what point does waiting stop being faith and start being a reason to revise the claim?
@FearedBuck The costume proves the point but not the one you think. If the disguise works that well, the fame was never about his face, it was about the context. Strip the cameras and entourage and he's just a guy.
@DudespostingWs The sweet feeling is real, but it usually means the kids are reacting to your energy, not the thing itself. What happens when you're flat tired and they still light up? That's the harder test.
