THREAD. I've been thinking more about the alarming speculation by the New York Times two days ago that racial justice protests **caused a big spike in murders** and I noticed something fascinating that I missed in my first analysis. To me, it's maybe more insidious.

@BrockOConnor @elysianaquarius in astrology, when the planet saturn returns to the place it was in when you were born, every 27-30 years. usually a time of reworking identity thru restrictions/ limitations/ widdling down.. idk tho when this post is saying the internet was 'born'

@rat_sacc @halal_bitch I have seen some tiktoks talking about intimacy issues as an effect of trauma and fear, this gen seems like theyre trying to unpack trauma at an earlier age. idk if people seem 'proud' of it tho, especially cus corona, its more like finding hope in shared exp.

The longer I work in the “justice” system the more convinced I become that the scales of justice only exist to determine who gets to make mistakes & who does not. HINT: Income, social influence, & skin color are all weighed more heavily than any actual act performed/not performed

There's something about this trap remix of the "Jurassic Park" theme song and the way the T-rex drops into the splits from the pole that makes me have so many feelings.

I remember NYPD hanging around outside methadone clinics on Saturdays, when people would get 2 doses to cover Sunday too. Undercovers would pretend to be in withdrawal & beg for someone's extra dose. If someone was kind enough to give it to them, they got arrested. For a felony.

“Police-created crime.” My first legal internship was in NOLA for the Orleans Public Defenders. Witnessed tons of injustice Post-Katrina. Cops would be put food out in random cars w/ windows rolled down. People who were starving would reach in, grab food & get arrested for it.
