I didn't get the ATAR score I needed but still managed to score my dream job at The Age. Please remember your score doesn't define you and there are many pathways to success.

If you get the HSC results & ATAR you wanted, then that’s fantastic. Your achievements should be recognised and you should be congratulated. If you don’t, there are other pathways. I think both these messages should have equal importance.

For all those receiving their #HSC scores today it’s worth noting - I’ve hired 100s of successful people as a CEO & not once have I asked for their HSC score or even their uni marks. But I did ask all of them ‘what have you done in your life that has made a difference to others?
