Nothing like having a less than year old 14TB WD Red Pro drive die. @westerndigital makes me wonder if I should have went with all WD drives or mixed brands. This is like a $700+cost for replacement and another external to backup stuff with.

So GoDaddy screws all the small domain owners and removed api access to change entries. Broke my acme cert bot. And NO NOTICE to customers they were doing this. Needless to say, my shit be a moving this weekend else where. Should have done it long ago.

Why does Ubuntu on AWS hard code the MAC address in the cloudinit stuff? This caused me like an hour to figure out why the network wouldn’t start when I moved an EBS volume from one instance to another… (yes what I was doing is probably not supported, but reasons)

Spent 8 hours working on ansible today on Ubuntu. Docs say ' it will auto detect python and work correctly. Can say nope it seg faults on just a copy file module. After forcing managed nodes to python 3 everything started working. Smh to what python was actually doing.

Really wish @XfinitySupport could explain why there are no options to downgrade service on their website only upgrades? And when I hit upgrade it errors out. Bill has went up almost $30 in the last year… and can’t even see lower cost plans.

Love how @FedEx stops in front of my house pretty sure my delivery is on the truck, they sit for 20 seconds to say that the delivery will be delayed due to weather and then leave. 3 times now single package has been delayed and 2 others who knows when I will get them.

Love that Amazon is going to start charging roughly $3 a month per IPv4 public IP.. "Use IPv6 so you don't get charged." That would be cool if everyone had IPv6, but smaller ISP's still don't have it. If you go IPv6 only you will lose some customers who are still stuck on IPv4.

Big thanks to @RegenceOregon @BCBSAssociation for denying my medicine that my Dr prescribed and my o2 concentrator today. But don’t worry, the Regence Dr who denied the medicine has my best interest at heart. It’s fine they have never seen or examined me in anyway.
