imagine an ai agent changing 12 files in 2 minutes the feature works the tests pass but did it introduce a security flaw, duplicate existing logic, or break something nobody tested? generating code is one skill understanding what changed is another read more :something.cloud/blog/which-eng…

imagine asking an AI to build a company. not just write its website or generate a business plan, but research the market, develop the product, find customers. today, AI can help with many of these tasks. It can also make mistakes, misunderstand instructions, and confidently give you answers that are wrong. now imagine a future system that could perform nearly all these tasks better than the most capable humans, across almost every intellectual field. that is the idea behind superintelligence more read : something.cloud/blog/what-is-s…

the weirdest part of building with ai? everyone celebrates the 10-minute demo. nobody talks about the 10 hours spent making it actually work. that’s the gap we care about at Something.Cloud. we’re working on more than another shiny prompt box. follow us now, because the next things we ship might start a few arguments

unpopular opinion: most “ai coding” tools are just really good at creating the next bug you’ll pay to fix we’re building Something for people who want to ship, not babysit generated code. and we’re not done yet. a lot more is coming soon. follow @somethingcloude before everyone starts asking what you missed.

every new ai model wants to beat the leaderboard. but here's the question nobody should ignore: if a model wins benchmarks but costs more, fails in real workflows, or takes longer to verify... did we actually get a better product? the real competition isn't just intelligence. it's usefulness. what metric matters most to you? #AI #LLM #MachineLearning #AIEngineering #Tech

what if ai makes developers faster without making software teams 10× more productive? zoho founder sridhar vembu has argued that faster coding hasn't yet delivered the dramatic productivity leap some people expect. writing code is only one part of building software. are we measuring the wrong thing? #Coding #AI #SoftwareEngineering #DevTools #Startups

ai scored 4× higher than human experts. then humans scored ~2× higher with more time. same benchmark. different winner. what happens when ai learns to sustain its performance, not just deliver fast results? are we measuring intelligence wrong? #AI #AGI #AIResearch #LLM #Superintelligence

what if ai's biggest breakthrough is building an even better ai? today, it helps researchers write code and test ideas. but what happens when ai starts accelerating the research that improves itself? could humans struggle to keep up?

Will Superintelligence Take Your Job? You do not need superintelligence to feel the shift. The AI Index reports that employment among software developers aged 22 to 25 has fallen nearly 20% since 2024. Older colleagues’ headcount grew. The pattern repeats in other highly AI-exposed jobs, like customer service. The report calls the disruption targeted and just beginning. Adoption is moving fast too. Generative AI reached 53% population adoption within three years, faster than the personal computer or the internet. Does that prove AI caused every job loss? No. The data shows a pattern, and the cause is still being studied. But the direction is clear enough to plan around. Here is the uncomfortable twist. Researchers in the survey expected full automation of all occupations to come far later than machines matching humans on tasks. Jobs are bundles of tasks, relationships and responsibility. AI can eat the tasks first. The practical question is not “will I be replaced?” It is “which parts of my work are easiest to automate?” Organizational adoption of AI reached 88%, and four in five US high school and college students now use it for school tasks, the AI Index reports.

AI agents aren't just getting better at answering questions. They're getting better at completing longer tasks. METR's 2025 research found that the length of software tasks AI agents could complete with a 50% success rate had been doubling roughly every 7 months in the tasks they studied. Read that again. This does NOT mean AI will become superintelligent on a predictable schedule. Extrapolating trends is risky. But it does raise a serious question: What happens when AI can handle projects that currently take humans days or weeks? We're watching a capability shift worth paying attention to. #AIResearch #Superintelligence

superintelligence won't just change how we work. it'll change who gets to build. imagine describing a billion-dollar idea in one sentence and having AI help turn it into a real product. no massive engineering team. no months waiting for an MVP. just an idea, the right tools, and the ability to execute. but here's the real question: when intelligence becomes abundant, will execution become the ultimate advantage? we think the next generation of builders won't just use AI to write code. they'll use it to build entire products, workflows, and intelligent agents. that's the future we're building toward with Something. less time building the tools. more time building what matters. build with something.cloud

building with ai shouldn't mean fixing ai's mistakes all day. we're building something.cloud to make turning ideas into real products faster, simpler, and less frustrating. if you're building something, you should probably know about this. visit something.cloud drop your idea and get free credits with in minutes

most ai tools can write one post. almost none can write five without sounding like a copy-paste job. what if one idea could become 5 different posts, and none of them sounded copied? we're building an internal tool with @somethingcloude solve exactly that. give it one guest post, and it adapts the content for linkedin, instagram, and everywhere else. right tone, right format, right context. we're dogfooding it internally right now. if it saves us hours every week, we're shipping it. best ai writing tool i've found: whichever one actually understands context. worst: any tool that thinks "adapted" means rewriting it once and posting it everywhere. if your content sounds identical on every platform, it's not repurposing. it's spam with extra steps. build with something.cloud
