Got @soor_app for Mac to a workable state. There’s so much broken in Apple’s MediaPlayer API on macOS that adding workarounds for every aspect of playback was needed. But worth it as a native catalyst app feels very fluid. DM me if you’d like to test out an early trial version.

Soor (@soor_app) now comes with live insights. Live insights makes use of the live activities API in iOS 16.1 to show you real-time insights about the currently playing track, right on your lock screen. Check the embedded video to see it in action.

Most music players have an audio source button but what if that button also shows current volume & allow you to adjust it with a gesture? Built this little interactive control in @soor_app that behaves like a regular button for AirPlay options but also acts as an volume control.

他アプリのデカいアップデートきたってさっきまで盛り上がってたら Soorもヤバすぎるアップデート来たんやが… こっちは相変わらず機能性高すぎるねほんとそうか…ロスレスとドルビーのアイコン表示できるんや… …ただなぁ…どうしてもこの背景の色味がなあ… どうにかできないものか…ってなる😔

If you prefer to just use the stock Music app but want to use Soor widgets now you can. The Now Playing and Collection widget can be configured to open items in stock music app.
