The air quality in Wadala this morning has crossed the line from merely unpleasant to unbearable, with the stench so overpowering it leaves a literal bad taste. 🤢 This isn't just about discomfort; it's a serious health and environmental concern that needs immediate attention. We've raised our voices before, but the problem persists. @mpcb_official , and @mprahulshewale , it's high time for decisive action to tackle this issue. Let's work together for a cleaner, healthier Wadala. 🌿
@srinivasjain Unbearable today. For a moment I thought of some gas leakage nearby, then realised it’s all over. Hope some solution can be found.
@srinivasjain Apparently, @mahanagargas suggests that Odourant is being refilled. It’s a routine procedure and nothing to worry about. They can take the neighbourhood for granted So some ppm is lost downwind hence the smell is coming. You can blame the wind 💨
@srinivasjain @mahanagargas We are not living in a factory. Accepting that inhaling Marcaptan is ok is “not ok”. You can’t leach the environment with poisonous odourant. That can’t be standard practice in resident areas with kids, babies and elderlies.
