@AlexGoldberg_ I mean, for the 100m we would be paying for Caicedo, it's possible to get Lavia and a GK. Getting a DM is critical, but spending 100m is absolutely nuts. Chelsea should walk away and state that negotiations could be reopened if Brighton drop price, maybe Caicedo will start pushing

@N1cBenedict @AlexGoldberg_ I always hear about his incredible passing skills. How is he defensively? Is he rock solid as well? Haven't seen enough of him yet.

@WelBeast Let's ignore the entire world selling players to Saudi Arabia and get wild when the only London club with a CL trophy does it.

@winna_by_nature @CFCPys @TheSecretScout_ Nah mate, Caicedo is 80m at least, or there is a player going the other way. He's been amazing this season yes, but we have seen numerous of players playing well for 7 months, then to show nothing at all the years afterwards. Rice has shown greatness consistenly, Caicedo hasn't.

@TheChelseaWayz @FPL__Genius @siphillipssport Lord Karius also started in a cl final. Who cares. Kepa is better, Onana overrated.

@CFCMod_ Think Poch would prefer a targetman type striker like Kane and Vlahovic. Think it will suit Nkunku better as well, so indeed, I don't agree with this kne

@Blue_Footy Lol no. Onana is an average keeper. Maignan is miles ahead of him in terms of shot stopping. Onana wouldnt be an upgrade to Kepa at all.

@CFCPys Finally a GK we've been linked with who really is an upgrade.

@Chels_HQ @Gazzetta_it Would Onana be such an upgrade to Kepa? I mean, if we can upgrade our GK to Maignan, I would say go for it. But Onana isn't worldclass either. Definitely not Allisson/Courtois level.

@CJ1Chelsea @europe_ian @Chels_HQ @repubblica Only Maignan would be an upgrade. If it's Onana we're going for, leave him in Italy please.

@Chels_HQ @footyinsider247 I see us losing Colwill over this deal. Just find a different CDM.

@metswalleyaka @CFCNewsReport It's much better to pay 100m or risking losing one of the best defenders for the years to come for a player who has performed decent for only 1 year.

@metswalleyaka @CFCNewsReport Never. Caicedo isn't a generational talent like Colwill is. He's just a type of player we need right now. I'd much rather play Ampadu CDM instead of Caicedo if that means Colwill would stay.

@TheBlueDodger Brilliant. Loan him out again for him to forget he's a Chelsea player? If they do, make sure he signs a new contract to 2028 beforehand.

@TheBlueDodger @TheSecretScout_ Sure they won't pay that. If they're not willing to increase the salary for Ugarte, they sure as hell won't pay a ridiculous amount for Caicedo. What a joke.

@CFCRaf2 The guy is 100 times better than all the alternatives on the market. Just saw a tweet as Kudus or Maddison as its successor. Chelsea would be stupid if they sold Havertz for players like these. Also, I expect Chelsea to massively overpay for these average players.
