This bill won't fix Biden's refusal to send Ukraine what's needed most. “While the United Kingdom and France have sent Ukraine long-range missiles, the Biden administration has maintained its opposition to sending ATACMS, or Army Tactical Missile Systems, over what it says is concern of triggering an escalation from Moscow. . . . “We feel that we’ve learned some lessons over the past two and a half years. We were hesitant on sending other weapons systems. We have done so and we have not seen an escalation … now it is the moment for the U.S. and the Germans to join the British and the French in sending those long-range missiles to Ukraine.” ” (ie has nothing to do with Congress authorized $) thehill.com/policy/defense…
@steven_pifer @DevinCow The problem is that Ukraine is fighting against exactly what Israel is engaged in.🤷♂️
@steven_pifer @DanKaszeta Im sure trump and mike will demand all aid to israel be in loan form first ... Right? (Sarcasm)
@steven_pifer Thank you for pointing out that Mike has the power to allow a vote. I’m tired of seeing people blame the US as a whole when it’s just this man
@steven_pifer @SpeakerJohnson 's hypocrisy has no bounds.
@steven_pifer Western Europe and NATO in particular, must fund Ukraine, NOT the US. Ukraine must immediately mobilize ALL 18-25 yr old able bodied men. No exceptions. No exemptions. Two years + since invasion. No mandatory mass mobilization approved.
