Kids sometimes don't know when they can't see to the fullest of their abilities. If your child is squinting, sitting close to/pulling things close to their face to see it, or are consistently rubbing their eyes, it may be time for a vision assessment with your local optometrist!

Common misconception about your child's first vision assessment: they need to be able to read the letter chart or do the "What's better: 1 or 2?" test. Not true! Your local optometrist has plenty of ways of learning so much more about your child's eyesight!
