Heads up, US Shopify stores: from Oct 23, Shopify Tax will tax return shipping fees like any other shipping charge. Most stores don't need to do anything. If you calculate or reconcile that tax by hand or with an app today, check it before Friday so it isn't counted twice.
@oderajoseph Same goes for merchants. Freeze risky theme and checkout edits ~2 weeks out, test everything on a draft theme, and run full test checkouts. Every year someone "quickly tweaks" their cart drawer the Tuesday before Black Friday.

@celispj This is exactly why we track real prices every week. Most merchants only find out about a price hike when the invoice lands. The upside for app devs is that every jump like this sends stores looking for alternatives.
Google's Universal Cart is live in Search and Gemini (US). Shoppers save items from Shopify stores and Google tracks price drops and stock for them. So your product feed is basically your storefront now. Before BFCM, fix disapproved products, missing GTINs and stale stock.
