I really love writing code that is maliciously compliant to a test. It forces your tests to actually cover your needs and exposes more test cases to ensure your code “does the thing” for real. (hoping someone will chime in with a better / established term for this practice)

Tip: The Intl.RelativeTimeFormat API gives us localized formatting of relative times (e.g. "yesterday", “3 seconds ago", "in 2 weeks"). Super useful: bit.ly/intl-rtf
