6:29 pm in #Kyiv I listened to the podcast about the current situation on the frontline and the recent attack on our energy infrastructure when the Trypillia Thermal Power Plant in Kyiv Oblast was completely destroyed. I will tell you two things. The obvious one is that we urgently need interceptor missiles for Patriot and IRIS-T air defence systems. The next thing is that the above-mentioned power plant was destroyed by a Kh-69 missile. It is a subsonic cruise missile for tactical aircraft, which russia can launch from Su-34 and Su-35 tactical aircraft. Because of its shape, Kh-69 is called a 'square missile'. This particular missile was able to reach Kyiv Oblast, indicating that it can fly approximately 400 km. Experts predict that these missiles can cause more air raid alerts in Kyiv and other oblasts that were previously not within range of SU-34 or SU-35 fighters' missiles. The fact that Kh-69 missiles can now reach us means that we should be prepared for potential threats. Sorry for my clumsy explanation. I am not a war expert, I am just trying to understand how it affects the lives of ordinary people like me.
@strategywoman There is now a big push from people from Europe and UK to know why Ukraine can not have an airshield provided by European countries considering we can do it for Israel.
@strategywoman That sounds really grim. Hoping that international help to close the skies will come quickly, and wishing you all safe. 🤗 🇺🇦🦾🇺🇦🦾🇺🇦
@strategywoman Hopefully the USA will stand by the pledges for air defense and deliver soon
@strategywoman I only wish that there was some positive news Yara. I’m so sorry and really bloody annoyed that there’s too much talk and no action🤬
@strategywoman I understand your message Yara. And read reports from the frontline and had similar thoughts. #warcoffee friends: We have to increase pressure to politicians, European and US politicians. Let’s call them to send interceptors immediately! And more defense systems asap. 🧵1/n
