An important correction: this photo is from the year 2020, a cosplay for a parade. Still, Nagant/Mosin is massively used by Russian occupation forces in “LDNR” as long as it were the forcibly conscripted locals, see the photos attached. Russia did not have assault rifles for them
@sumlenny It's surreal that my granparents probably saw the same weapons in 1939 when Russians entered Poland.
